Weapon Speed

Weapon speed / Swing speed is divided into 3 different classes (assuming you have the stength required for full-swing for your weapon).
1. Short Swords
2. Fencing weapons
3. All other weapons
If you have merien talent, subtract 1 attack speed. If a weapon is agile, subtract 1 attack speed.
So an agile fencing weapon is max attack speed and an agile hammer paired with merien talent is also max attack speed.

Short Swords

Short swords have come a long way since the addition of talents. They offer lightning fast attacks, quick refresh of critical attacks, and can be very deadly when paired with high Luck stat. Do not underestimate a Short sword user.

Long Swords

Long Swords are the preferred Warrior weapon. They offer versatility, and good balance in both PVP and PVE situations. Typically they require less strength than other Pure Warrior weapons, and can therefore leave more stat points for the warrior to put in dexterity.

Axes

Axes offer various different uses. Most axes can be used with a shield, except for the Battle axe which is a two-handed weapon. Often times you will see a tank with a War axe and a shield, or a pure warrior with a Battle axe. Nonetheless, Battle axes are the strongest, non-epic item, in the game. They offer extra crush damage and extra crush chance when paired with the axe talent.

Bows

Bows are a mandatory hunting weapon. Most if not all warriors carry a bow in their inventory. They are useful when pulling a monster, or when spell-pushing a mage. The Archery talent make the use of bows even better. It offers double hits, ricochets, and piercing attacks. Many warriors line up rows of monsters and kill them with a single arrow.

Wands

Physically, wands are innocuous. That said, they offer much potential to magical spells. Most staves give Mana Saving abilites while casting spells, reducing the cost of casting a spell by a fixed amount. Furthermore they can add hit ratio for spells, magic damage bonuses and heightened spell casting chances for lesser magic users.
