Physically, wands are innocuous, but they offer much potential to magical spells. Most staves give Mana Saving abilites while casting spells, reducing the cost of casting a spell by a fixed amount. Furthermore they can add hit ratio for spells, magic damage bonuses and heightened spell casting chances for lesser magic users.
